The project involves the renovation and adaptive reuse of an old olive mill, which was transformed into a set of rental rooms, respecting its historical identity and the surrounding natural landscape. The architectural approach focused on preserving the original structure and traditional materials, while integrating contemporary interventions that ensure comfort and functionality.
The new openings and clean geometries enhance the connection between interior and exterior spaces. The use of natural materials and earthy tones contributes to creating a calm and balanced atmosphere, highlighting the authenticity of the space.
Particular emphasis was placed on the design of the outdoor spaces, where the pool serves as a central element for relaxation and social interaction. The stone-paved surfaces, plantings, and subtle lighting organize a cohesive outdoor area, enhancing the hospitality experience and the sense of continuity with the surrounding environment.
